One of the very good places to get Chinese food. Me and my team usually go to this place for lunch. The lunch special comes with your choice of soup, which I always get egg drop which is fantastic. I can never get enough of that. Everything on the menu is simple yet delicious. If you like spicy fried rice, please mention it to the server. The service can be a hit or miss. Casual, don't expect too much from the service. Cheers.

Shanghai House is a hidden gem, offering a delicious fusion of Chinese and Korean cuisine. Their menu features traditional dishes like TungSuYuk, Northern Korea’s unique take on Sweet-and-Sour Beef, and Jjajangmyeon also spelled Jajangmyeon is a delightful noodle dish topped with a thick sauce of Chunjang, diced pork, and vegetables. These wonderful dishes are rare finds in the US, but are absolutely worth seeking out. Despite the surprisingly low review ratings, my experience was nothing short of exceptional—from the outstanding service to the incredible food flavors. It's possible that the traditional Chinese-Korean dishes might be unfamiliar to some. However, for anyone living in or near Seattle, or just visiting, Shanghai House is an absolute must-try!

Very tasty authentic food, the braised pork belly was awesome and the fried pumpkin egg yolk was deliciously crispy, A bit pricy, and at that price I was surprised to be charged for rice. Overall a very good experience !

This is a very nice lunch spot. The food was fantastic. The service was as customary as it gets. We has the saczwan beef and shared it. We had to purchase rice that in my opinion should have been served with the meal. We have been here twice now. But this is unfortunately our last visit. We want value. Not extra. Just value. One meal with rice shared by two with hot tea and water $48.00 almost $25.00 a peice to share food is just too high, even if it was good. Please inquire the prices before you stop in.

Only Shanghai restaurant in Seattle area. Have many very shanghai dishes. But they moved to this much smaller place, so that it seems the options of dishes are less than before. I recommend to dine in, the dishes take-out is not as good as fresh cooked. Some dishes are pricey. But this is the only Shanghai restaurant, so we have no choice. Free Parking. Service is good. this restaurant has been remodeled so it’s better than soft-opening.

After not visiting for a long time, I came here again. Last time, I had to admit that I was pretty disappointed by the dish 'Yanduxian,' but after such a long time, I decided to give it another chance. Our group of six people ordered many dishes. I'd say this time it was better than I expected. Some of the dishes are pretty good, for example, the red-braised pork belly and the egg yolk pumpkin. Some of the dishes met the standard but were not amazing, such as the Eight Treasure Duck and some cold dishes. However, I was again disappointed by the 'Yanduxian.' It was just NOT right. Nothing was right about this soup, and please just avoid ordering this. Hopefully, the restaurant staff will see this review and ask me what would be the correct way of cooking it. Anyway, it's improving. There's already very little competition among Shanghai-style restaurants here, so at least it provides a destination to enrich the diversity.

The food was delicious and service was wonderful. We had some leftovers and they packed them for us. We ordered the vegetable fried rice and pumpkin coated with salted egg yolk. Both dishes were delicious.
